Housed in a converted 100-year old factory, the 69-room Wythe Hotel is located on the Brooklyn waterfront. It's industrial character has been preserved and some rooms still showcase exposed brick walls.
All rooms boast 13-foot high, original timber ceilings, windows and heated concrete floors. Some rooms offers a view of the New York City skyline while others offers guests a peek into the Brooklyn and Williamsburg neighborhoods.
Le Crocodile is the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, and Bar Blondeau is the hotel’s bar located on the 6th floor. Bar Blondeau offers small plates while Le Crocodile serves breakfast, lunch and dinner consisting of French eats. Locally sourced ingredients are used for the meals. A private dining room is also available.

Great hotel but noisy on weekend.
Well situated hotel with breathtaking views. Large well appointed rooms - very modern and comfortable. However this hotel is noisy on the weekend. There is a restaurant and a bar and the hotel hosts weddings as well as functions on the top floor. Sound proofing is very poor. We were on the top floor and struggled with noise from the elevators and from a party next door. I feel more effort should be made to seperate the hotel areas and function areas for the comfort of guests and soundproofing should be improved.

Perfect hotel in Williamsburg.
I had visited The Wythe before for dinner so knew it had an excellent location in Williamsburg from which to explore that neighbourhood of Brooklyn. The room was huge with industrial style decor that honours the history of the building, a very large, comfortable bed and spacious bedroom with a great shower. The daily happy hour at Bar Blondeau is a must do for drinks and watching the sunset over the Manhattan skyline. The hotel is also within walking distance of the regular NYC ferry to take you to DUMBO, Wall Street and midtown (plus other stops). Great cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are also within walking distance.
The guy who I spoke to on the telephone on the day we were leaving and then in person at check out was very unnecessarily sassy (all other staff were great).
