Everything was great, nothing was too much trouble from the staff. Also, Fazle, Daneil’s sone was a fantastic guide and.
it was clean, quite basic but everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.

A clean, comfortable, and kind stay in Harar, with a short drive to the old city.
The employees were extremely kind and accommodating - they arranged a shuttle to and from the Dire Dawa airport and were very flexible with us as we changed our plans a few times. The room was clean, and the wifi was shockingly fast (faster than our apartment in Addis! ) and we had a router directly in the room. The balcony gave a beautiful view over the city. The hotel is in the new city, so take a bajaj to get to the old city/gates - this'll run you ~$1 and 5 minutes.
The hotel is on a busy street, and the road noise can be loud. Bring ear plugs or use a 'white noise' playlist and you'll be fine. There was a large gap under the balcony door, so some mosquitoes made their way inside. Still slept well, but consider finding something to 'plug' the gap (or bring repellent).
