Varanasi is a wonderful assault on all your senses. Vedangam Inn was a good oasis in its midst.

I don't know how the property got 10.0 rating by 49 reviewers (by now) within just a month. I believ.
(My wife stayed at the hotel for one night. So the review is by her.). Location is good. All fine with privacy. Interior is neat.
It was impossible to use towels, because they were really dirty. So was bed linen: dark brown/red-ish spots on a blanket and sheets, traces of lipstick on a pillow. Flushing the toilet is a wild experience - it is like the whole Niagara falls trying to flood your bathroom (so sad I can't attach the video of a flushing, but I attach a photo; notice the water splashing from below the sit). The room is hot and stuffy. AC can't handle neither temperature nor stuffiness of the room. Ceiling fan is old and feels like it's gonna tear down it self during a next round of its spinning. And as icing on the cake - the room has now window. You call it "Deluxe King Room" - really? It's more like self-proclaimed king. Receptionists rejected to accept payment by bank card. Although they had a payment terminal they claimed it's broken and insist to pay by cash or using local gpay system (which is impossible for foreigners). I don't know how the property got 10.0 rating by 49 reviewers (by now) within just a month. I believe those reviews are fake.
