Self-catering Apartment w/ Terrace

The roof terrace is an amazing place to relax, or work. You always have shade, and a nice breeze. From the upper terrace you can see Fogo if it is not too hazy.

There are three construction sites around the house - there is extremely loud noise comeing into the bedrooms (drilling, crashing the walls etc), when you stay on the terrace there are workers moving around on the rooftops of adjacent buildings. I understand that there might be construction activities ongoing but this should be included in the description of the house and rental fee should be adjusted accordingly. Pictures of the property (view on the ocean side) is outdated and fixed in a way to make the property look much closer to the ocean. In fact in front of the building (in ocean view direction) there is a house under construction which last floor is on the same level as the upper part of terrace of the property. At the time you book the property with option to pay upon arrival you receive information from the property that in order to keep the reservation you need to issue prepayment. This is also something that should be included in the description. At night the area around the house gets completely dark, knowing that the surrounding buildings undergo construction works and anyone from the street can easily access the terrace of the rented property (from the rooftop of proximate buildings), what definitely is not comfortable during your stay.

A great terrace nearby the center and the beach. Good beds and clean appartment. Good place when you stay in Tarrafal. It's a nice neighborhood where a lot of buildings are built at the moment. Antonio, the owner is very kind and helpful.

Very pretty apartment, spacious and lots of plants and flowers. Antonio was a fantastic host, and clearly wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible, giving us lots of tips on how to make the most of Tarrafal. We were staying during a festival but the apartment was still quiet. Antonio's recommended driver was fantastic, and showed us the Praia market before the gorgeous drive to Tarrafal. We also had an early drive back to Praia when we left, and the golden hours views were breath-taking.

Water is a challenge in CV, but compared to other places we stayed (some with even more water challenges), I felt like the shower could have been a lot better with some investment. Just having a flexible hose and holder would have been a good start.

if you will be on Santiago you have to go to Antonio’s place. he is so helpful and if you want to take a dive then he is the best person for that too. everything is like described and we loved to sit on the roof top terrace. Antonio gives you the best recommendations about trips, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. A very quiet and very nice place. we will come back definitely. thanks again Antonio .. Tobi and Dirk.
