The photos didn't really do it justice it was fabulous, the staff were all very friendly.
Outstanding breakfast, great choice and surroundings, very well presented. Waiters were always there topping up dishes, attending tables.
Can't think of anything.

Good location and good as a base for touring.
Location and friendly staff.
It seemed a little tired. Could have had more choice for evening meals.

Very Good
Colonial style, very unique, rural hotel with stunning view and beautiful architecture. Prices in a bar and restaurant are acceptable.
The whole building is a bit worn and needs a general makeover. However, it looks like a genuine Mexican hacienda, where nothing is perfect. Beds are not very comfortable It was a definitely too pricey comparing to conditions, anyway.

Very Good
Breakfast was surprisingly good (e.g. the croissants). Fresh fruit available. Many drink. options. The pool was nice. The whole compound was very quiet.
The room’s furniture needed an update years ago. The last paint job was done sloppily. Some curtains looked like they should have been thrown out at the turn of the century.

Missed opportunity, hotel could be fantastic, but let down by lack of re-investment and decent chef.
Location and setting excellent, breakfast good.
Bed was not not comfortable, bathroom was tired and evening meal was average. One choice of rose wine, again not good.
