Good and Bad about this hotel.
It's a budget hotel. The hotel was under renovation and only level 1 available. Staff are friendly and will help to resolve issues. They have arranged for motorbike rental and also guided me where to look for local foods. The hotel is near to the town and easily accessible. The owner recommended her biryani on the first day and good place to take dinner. The team are very friendly and asked about my bike ride (North South East West ) of Batam and Bintan ride. The have also given me Keropok and the most important full face helmet for the bike ride.
1) The room given is different from the one which has been booked. They have given me single room but I paid for standard double room. After confirming with the owner, they changed my room and told their server error for the booking details. 2) Since it's budget hotel, you need to be prepared to mopped the floor once finish taking bath. Water will flow out although the door is closed. I have to cover with dirty cloth on the door edge and mopp everyday. 3) Bad smell and mosquito on night on rooms. 4) No sound proof or privacy for all rooms. You can hear what other are talking outside your room. Cannot put high volume on TV since others can hear and disturb the sleeping activity. Not suitable for honeymoon couples ?. 5) Bike arrangement was done but damaged helmet was given. Waited for 3 hours to get good helmet. The bike owner is different and hotel helped for the bike rental. At last the renovation contractors has given his full face helmet which helped me to round around Bintan (535km). Really appreciate their help after the bike owner told he cannot provide helmet since he was at Batam.
