Lovely little camp.
Mohammed was extremely friendly and welcoming. He also upgraded our room for us which was really kind and appreciated - thank you! The communal tent is a really cool place to chill in the evening, where you can have unlimited tea for free and also pay for shisha. The rest of the staff were extremely helpful too and were always keen to assist you where possible. The camp is very conveniently located if you wish to see Little Petra. The camp looks pretty at night with all of the lights in the rock face turned on. The rooms are small but are completely fine for a short stay.
The food, oh my god the food, it was terrible. I can't believe that so many reviews call the food great - is there some kind of conspiracy, a wall of silence somehow surrounding the kitchen at Little Petra Bedouin Camp that I have single handedly uncovered? ! I'm not sure if we got unlucky and maybe the regular cook was away perhaps, but in our two weeks travelling across Oman and Jordan, staying at a variety of different accommodations (tents in the desert, hotels, guesthouses, resorts), the dinner was the worst meal we had by a country mile (and we were eating nuts and crisps in our car like London tube rats during the day during Ramadan in Oman). We stayed one night so only had to survive one dinner and one breakfast. Don't let this deter you from staying however, as our experience was otherwise positive. There was lots of food (it was buffet style) and it was definitely edible, just not at all enjoyable.

Great location, food, staff and facilities. Recommend wholeheartedly.
Everything! Breakfast and especially dinner were great. The camp is in a great location, particularly to do Petra from the “back way”. Mohammed was very welcoming and the staff was very attentive. Due to low occupancy we got a free upgrade - very nice touch. We will come back next time we are in Jordan.
