An experience that will live in your memories.
The facilities were great, the food was good but it was the employees who made our stay so good. So friendly and amenable to requests. Special thanks to Abdul who made the stargazing night such a memorable experience.
It was all good.

Beautiful comfortable place, great people, disappointed by stars.
When choosing between the many camps in Wadi Rum I realized it's quite hard, most have amazing reviews, and I realized many seem too good to be true, e.g. I found some word-for-word repeated reviews in another camp, and I just get the feeling that there are many fake reviews around. So I'll try to be specific to convince you this one is not fake :) . I chose this camp by sorting the reviews from worst - some other camps had terrible worst reviews indicating scams, this one didn't seem bad so I picked it. Overall we enjoyed the stay very much. The staff were nice and friendly. We traveled with a child so it was great that we didn't have to book activities in advance, just talked to Nael live when we arrived and arranged everything flexibly with him - big plus. Everyone was very accommodating, e.g. my child's sunglasses broke and Nael lent us his Ray Ban. The location is as shown on Google maps. It's inside the desert but not too far from the road, but at the same time far enough. So you are not close to the road, there's no noise or anything, but at the same time you don't feel stuck in the middle of nowhere. I read about some camps where they drive you (and charge extra) - here I could drive with my rental car, and drive away if I wanted to! The location and orientation of the camp is just perfect for a sunset, and also has a good view of the Milky Way. Beautiful setting. The Martian tent looks spacious in photos but I expected it to be more cramped in real life, while it was actually spacious! Most things worked just fine, not many complaints. The activities were good - the tour guide seems to often be around the camp so I'm not sure if it's an official tour guide, nobody ever checked our Jordan pass etc. But the guy was nice, vary of us going with a child so he didn't do any crazy stuff, it was a nice pleasent ride around the desert. We also did sandboarding and a very brief (our choice) camel ride - all good.
I wish the stars were more visible - I was in deserts before and was hoping for the same view, but I was negatively surprised. It was still good, but not as awesome as it can be. It is partially the fault of the camp - the lights are not extremely bright, they are somewhat dim and create a nice atmosphere, but any light produces light polution which strongly interferes with watching the stars. I understand lights until say 11pm, but there is really no need for those lights to be on at 1am. If it's for safety, just put some motion detectors and done. It really should be pitch black - the view would have been amazing. When I went to the most remote part of the camp and hid behind a tent to see the least lights, the stars were quite good (I didn't want to go far out as I promised my wife. . and I heard some howling before so I don't know, maybe it's even dangerous to wonder away? ). In retrospect, I'm sad I didn't go stargazing. The Martian tent windows were quite dirty. I guess it's hard to clean the plasticy things and there's sand all over the place, but still they should really do a much better job. The whole point of the tent are those massive windows, and to go inside and see blurry stuff is disspointing. I have mixed feelings about the Martian tent. In the end it's not as awesome as it looks - during the day you'll be away and if not it will be too hot so curtains will fully block any view. During the night, the inside of the tent will be bright and outside dark so you won't see any stars, so you just put yourself in view of others. Plus the windows were dirty. On the other hand, it's still a pretty cool experience, I'm glad I did it. The breakfast is quite basic, but passable. Dinner was good but I was expecting the whole zarb show as this seems fairly standard, while there was nothing, "just" the food.

Unique stay.
Incredible. Communication was seamless. It was a beautiful location. We loved the Jeep tour and camel ride. We also really enjoyed the dinner.
Lots of wild dogs barking all night. Bring ear plugs.
