We chose this hotel for it s location as we had an early morning flight to catch. Shuttle was no available and we had to take a taxi raising our costs. Breakfast was also not available on departure as the kitchen wasn't open. We had to leave at 3.30 am for a 5am flight. Airport hotels should have facilities available round the clock for transit passengers.

Best place to stay at Lisbon Airport.
Great staff, breakfast! We got a room upgrade so my experience might be tainted. We stayed in the hotel opposite (star inn) many times. Given that the prices are the same, this one is much better in terms of service, facilities and breakfast. Star Inn used to be cheaper, but now it is an overpriced and upgraded hostel with very small rooms. Better to stay at Melia at this price level.

Perfect location to prepare for departure flights.
Enjoyed the convenience and location. Also staff were friendly helpful and courteous. I loved the hotel theme and attention to detail… .
There are many other travelers like myself whim discovered the shuttle to airport service. Too many! There needs to be multiple vans running simultaneously to serve everyone. We ended up calling Uber and we arrived at the airport before the hotel shuttle service. We were on a tight schedule and could not wait .
