Good for a stop over.
The view from above over san jose is very nice The breakfast was good and local The rooms are very big.
The furniture is old and could use am update It wasnt the cleanest hotel weve slept in so far.

Loved the view and the pool.
It was a good typical breakfast. The pool was lovely and the view spectacular. The staff were friendly. Not their issue that the rooms shown when booking are not the room given on arrival. They are doing their best. This place has huge potential if managed correctly. Money needs to be invested. The Mirador del Valle restaurant is 300 meters from hotel. Same gorgeous view, excellent service and the food was amazing.
That the pictures of the rooms I thought I was booking on booking. com did not match the room I received. I was at the very top of the hill with a room with a broken television and no bathroom mirror. The hotel is aware the pictures of the rooms you think you are booking on booking. com do not match the actual room you will receive. The booking said patio furniture and microwave. We had a patio but no furniture to sit out and no microwave. Had to walk down hill to the pool if we wanted to sit out. Room number 8 which we finally got into showed a sofa and chair to sit on. No sofa and no chair. Literally the bed to sit on. Shower had sporadic hot water and bathroom sink backing up. This place has a beautiful location. The lower garden needs cleaning up. It was junk. The hotel owners need to invest some money in more patio furniture for the rooms and the look out patio. The room lampshades full of bugs and in bad need of cleaning. There was no daily cleaning service.
