Very Good
Lovely hostel right on the river, with hammocks and good food. Very relaxing stay.
As nice as the staff were, they kept forgetting our food order and we were kept waiting over an hour when we had informed them we needed to get the boat. We were then told to 'relax' which was a little annoying.

Great river side hotel.
The hotel is on a peaceful part of the river. The rooms are rustic but nicely done and very clean. We were worried about not having air conditioning but the fan worked well and we slept great. It cools down considerably at night. Shower has hot water and was better thanks shower in Flores. Free pick up and drop off in Rio Dulce with good communication. Meals were excellent and well priced. We used their tour to go up the lake to Livingstone and it was a highlight of our trip. We also rented a kayak to paddle across to the castle and along the river. The owners are very nice and helpful. If you are debating about staying here versus either Rio Dulce or Livingston, we definitely recommend Kangaroo. The towns are not nice to stay in.

Really nice calm place in beautiful surroundings.
It's so tranquil and beautiful there! You can swim, rent Kayaks or just chill. They pick you up from Rio Dulce and there are free lanchas a few times a day.
You're not allowed to bring your own food which is really bad for budget travellers. It would be nice if that was allowed so you can at least have your own food for breakfast.

Great location just a few minutes from Rio Dulce and the staff were very helpful. It's great value for a night in a lovely spot.
