Beautiful, clean property on a hill overlooking Issyk Kul. Cholpon is such a kind woman and an amazing cook. She helped us arrange transportation, cooked for us morning and evening, cleaned the facilities daily and was always so warm and generous. We had such a great time.

The best hotel in 6 months of travel.
Simply the best. Wonderful place. Minutes walk from the lake. Close the mountains and Barskoon village. The family were so nice. Food was amazing and so filling. Best hotel we stayed in after 6 months of travel. They have a SAUNA too! Unreal!

A very friendly family runs the place. . and they were helpful and ready to assist at all time.
Finding the location was a bit difficult. . but when I called them, they picked me from where I was.

Exceptional
Ugra suited me as it was close to the lake. Emil and his mother and father looked after me very well. I ended up having dinners there as well as breakfast and enjoyed good home cooking. I didn't do many activities but know Emil would have helped me with anything. Great shower and lovely dining room and lounge. Bunk bed was comfortable and room warm. Will hopefully return in the future. Great place to relax if that's what you want to do but there are plenty of activities in the area if you want to be busy.
I didn't have phone coverage so found Ugra hard to locate. More my fault for not checking prior. Toilet is a little way from the dorm.
