Very pleasant stay.
The room was tastefully decorated. A few knocks and bumps be general very good. A few minor faults but the maintenance man came around within a few hours and fixed them. Reasonably convenient for transport but this will improve greatly when the new tram line opens nearby. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Very few restaurants close by. I prefer a quiet location as I am a light sleeper but not near the action. This may not suit everybody.

The room design, friendliness of staff, smooth check-in, cleaniness.
Morning sounds of doors opening and closing were disturbing the sleep.

Great location for buses . Breakfast simple but plenty of choice .
Clean , comfy , suitable size . VLAD evening reception has been the nice guy we met in our whole 10 days travelling Italy . Even though some say needs updating I liked that the hotel had character.
We went for breakfast at 9:45 and a lot of the items hadn’t been restocked and every single table had dirty plates but maybe this was due to a busy spell . Italians in general are just very rude, expect very basic service everywhere you go.
