An overpriced hotel in a poor location. Not worth it unless you're desperate.
Decent sized room with good shower. Comfortable bed. Convenient parking out the front.
No key was available for the room so was unable to lock the door when I was out. Sound proofing in the room was terrible. Could hear everything happening upstairs and next door, plus traffic noise from the freeway which is at least 100m away. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant wasn't open which meant having to drive another 15 minutes into town (due to the one way system) to get something to eat. And was charged more for the room than the original booking price, which was already overpriced.

Very Good
The Hotel del Valle Quilimari is a good stop for those traveling along highway 5. It is a little hard to find, but a surprising oasis not far from the freeway. The service was great, the breakfast quite good, and the rooms comfortable. There is a pool and a restaurant and a large area of grass for kids to play (also a basketball and soccer court).
The hotel is close to the freeway, so having earplugs is a plus. The road to get to the place is dirt and relatively rough, but you don't need high clearance to get there.
