Something lovely in countryside!
Lovely location in countryside, although you do need a car to get to either Clyde or Alexandra which aren't too far, 3km & 5km respectively. Karen & Mick were friendly & helpful - lent an e-bike & also able to use their washing-machine. Bed was comfy, nice shower, heated towel rails, plus outside patio facing mountains with sun umbrella & bbq provided. All in all, we had a lovely 6 days at Clydestay.
Nothing didnt like really, except perhaps a wee table indoors to eat when it's too cold outdoors (although space might not make that possible) & a fan inside for when it is too hot as sun streams in later in day.

Our stay was fabulous. Scenic location, very quiet. The studio was modern and clean.
The location was peaceful and relaxing and central to all the places we wanted to see, e.g. Clyde, Alexandra, Cromwell, Queenstown and the cycle trails.

Clydestay is a relaxed welcoming place to stay with the freedom to feel I could walk on the lawn and definitely enjoyed.
Open spaces outside so relaxing and had good flow from well set out house glowing to deck and then views enhanced the feeling of spaciousness.
Nothing was comfortable homely and clean Maybe extra towels.

We’d definitely recommend Clydestay to our friends and would stay their again, a lovely property and friendly hosts.
The owners were very accommodating and let us put our Classic car in their garage which was great, good facilities and lovely and clean.
