good value - great water park.
really close to centre of things that you can get on the bus across the road which is really cheap. good pool and on the beach with great inflatable water park. rooms were clean.
it needs upgrading, things looking a bit tired, food was average.

A super, budget all inclusive option in Cancun.
We were a little concerned about our stay at Dos Playas before travelling due to the mixed reviews but shouldn’t have worries. The room was clean and much more modern than expected, the facilities were good and the staff amazing. The all inclusive package is a must and staff are happy to go ‘off the menu’ with drinks to give you what you want. There is a daily entertainment programme and a show each evening.
The food is just ok. The snacks during the day are reasonably good but the restuarant food isn’t great. However, we were there for the Christmas meal which was excellent and the a la carte experience in the Thai restaurant was great. The hotel is somewhat understaffed which can mean that you have to wait for plates, cutlery, a clean table etc. in the restaurant which can be frustrating.
