Hotel Casa Zapallar

A fantastic boutique hotel in an upmarket and beautiful seaside town. We had a nice room (#1) with a very large, comfortable bed and good bathroom with walk-in shower. Breakfast (included) was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We ate in the hotel one night and the food was delicious and fairly priced. Zapallar is a special place and this hotel made it even more so. Very highly recommended.

it’s an excellent location, all the staff are eager to make your stay an excellent one. It’s a small intimate boutique hotel, that offers a good breakfast and has a very good espresso machine , ideal as many places still only provide Nescafe powder stuff. Dinner in the evening gives you a choice of normally 3 main dishes, plus starter and dessert. The food is simply prepared, tasty and where possible, they have locally caught species of fish, not available in Santiago. The roof terrace with its mini pool is lovely to enjoy the afternoon sun. This was our second stay, and we’ll certainly return again later this year.

The first visit we were in room 1, and had no problem with the wifi ( which the tv works from as well). This time in room 4 ( a little further away from the router in reception), the signal was patchy and generally weak. So if during your visit, you need good wifi, I suggest you dont stay in room 4.

Zapallar is beautiful and this is a small boutique hotel, within walking distance of everything, nicely decorated and with very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel Casa Zapallar is a very warm and welcoming hotel. A lovely ambience greets you, with a warm fireplace, stylish furniture and well equipped and spacious comfortable bedrooms. The main ingredient though that makes it so very special, are the team at the hotel. Tomaz the manager, simply can't do enough to help you. He knows everyone around the area and works to make your stay unique. Also Javier the chef is extremely talented. He provided the most amazing dinner, from all locally sourced produce.
