The property was spotless and beautifully decorated. Host Irene and Jac were very helpful and were there to resolve any issues we had there. There was complimentary champagne and pastries for us when we checked in on New Year’s Day. Glad that we spent 5 days in this beautiful apartment.

Beautiful apartment in stunning location.
Beautiful apartment, super clean. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Great location close to town but with wonderful views. The balcony was a great place to enjoy them while appreciating the local wines.
Toilet in bathroom and no door. Church bells day and night. No air-conditioning.

A perfect week spent with our friends!
Iréne and Jacques were perfect hosts, they were around throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well and see if they could help further. The gîte is beautifully decorated and comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is so peaceful and the view onto the vineyards is lovely, especially when the sun is setting. The centre of Riquewihr is within a few minutes' walk, where you can find plenty of places to eat and drink. Most villages in the Alsace area are quaint and within easy reach of Riquewihr by car. You can also take a train to Strasbourg from Sélestat if you don't fancy driving in a big town. We recommend visiting NaturOparC where you can see many Storks (March to mid-August) in their natural habitat as well as other endangered species.
Each bedroom is ensuite, however, there is no door between the bedroom and the bathroom/WC, which gives little privacy. .. but we got used to it.
