There are so many hotels in Puerto Natales, choose another one!
This hotel has good potential since the view is really nice but for all the reasons listed below, I cannot recommend it.
- rude staff - heaters broken in the room - rooms on the ground floor noisy - no cold water from the tap in the room - the safety box in the room was closed so we could not use it - breakfast is not good / not a lot of variety - the path to get to the hotel is a dirt road and bumpy so not easy to drive with a standard car - if you make stains on a towel, they charge you 25 USD. See full story below: When we checked in we had a room on the second and last floor, which in appearance was good. After a few minutes we realised that the heater was on and the button to stop it was broken so we could not turn it off, and it was too hot in the room. We called the reception, they said they could not fix it, and moved us to a room on the ground floor. That room was close to the reception and the restaurant and was super noisy, we could hear everything that was going on there + the view was not as nice as on the top floor. We complained and all of a sudden they found another room on the second floor where we initially were, so we move again (carrying our heavy luggage in the stairs each time). This third room was quiet and its view was nice but the heater (in the bathroom this time) was also broken (on and we could not stop it) + there was no cold water coming from the tap, only hot water… We were tired of complaining so stayed in this room. They gave us some tickets for a free drink at the bar when we arrived but after changing rooms they took them back, so no free drinks for us. And after that episode, staff was rude to us, they did not say hello to us during the 3 days we stayed at the hotel.
