The staff were so very helpful organising taxis and trips - the location was fantastic.
The staff and the location.
The breakfast- the view - no lounge area - apart from some chairs scattered on a landing, by the entrance so nowhere to sit comfortably and chat when it rained apart from the bedroom.

loved Venice with the carnival the hotel sits on the canal with Gondola in front of hotel door.
it was central to everything.
I was disappointed as it felt a bit tired and shabby. Stayed in Junior Suite with balcony. Felt excited about starting in Venice then a bit deflated with the hotel room. The main bedroom the bed was not comfortable I woke up with aches and pains in my hips. My friend stayed in other part of room which is not private as no for separating the main bedroom. She has a twin bed and felt it was ok. San Zaccaria is nearest easier stop to get to hotel 4 min walk with suitcases and we are not spring chickens. San Marco is 10 mins max. Breakfast was ok nothing special. The hotel give 10% off food in restaurant but quite small and no atmosphere. Staff were polite and helpful. I think for the price of Junior suite it was probably one of the best deals I could find in Venice especially as we had two separate rooms.

Great location, clean and comfortable.
The staff were all very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. The check-in was quick and our room was ready early, the concierge even took us to our room. We had a late flight the next day and the hotel stored our luggage for the whole day.
