Staff was great. Food was great. I felt very comfortable here.
Great! I LOVED THE VEGETARIAN OMLETT.
The windows don't open.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and we would stay here again if we came back to Costa Rica.
We really enjoyed that the room was really nice (we had the Junior suit), with a good AC, a king bed and a large bathroom (with a large shower that had a really good pressure ?). The interior of the hotel was also really nice, with different areas to sit and a lot of greenery. The breakfast sitting area had an open roof, so we could enjoy the really nice breakfast (fruit and a full meal, coffee) while having some sun, a little breeze and hearing the birds chirping. We felt very safe in the hotel and the stuff was amazing - very kind, friendly and helpful! They had our towels changed every day (which is honestly so nice when being in this tropical country). The location was also good since it is in the north of the Alajuela center, which made it easy when we went on the different tours (volcano, coffee farm, La Paz etc.).

Excellent place to stay being so close to the airport. Lovely part of town. Very historic building.
Location to airport is fantastic. Breakfast is very good.
Traffic noise was a little loud.
