Great family apartment as a base to explore the Vlore coast.
The owner, Ines, was very responsive. Her father was very welcoming and spoke a bit of English and Italian so we could communicate. The apartment is super clean and spacious. The views are beautiful and the swimming pool and garden are lovely too. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Quiet neighbourhood.
Everything was perfect. Please note that payment is in cash which I was not aware so had to go to get some cash out. But there is an ATM nearby in Orikum.

Perfect for our holiday.
We were very happy at Vila Elida and plan to return. Communication with the owner was efficient - when the wifi went down one night she got it sorted very quickly and she kindly allowed us a late check-out as the next visitors weren't arriving till the following day. Her father, who looks after the property on a day to day basis, was lovely. He kept the pool and garden beautiful, kindly brought us fruit and generally made us very welcome. We had the ground floor apartment - before we arrived I had thought a higher one would be better but actually it was perfect and I would choose it again. It is in good condition and very clean. There are two bathrooms, the aircon was quiet and efficient, and the beds were comfortable (a big one for us as my husband and I both have slightly dodgy backs). The pool is also well maintained and a good size (if you have small children be aware it has a shallow end but gets very deep quite suddenly). We were happy with the location too- being higher up it was cooler than at the beach, which is only 7 minutes drive away. We bought excellent local cheese from a dairy in the village and had a fantastic meal at Bar Restorant Rrepet e Izvorit which is about 10 minutes walk from the house. We enjoyed Orikum beach too and found the best supermarket there, though the one in the village was useful for getting first supplies when we arrived. Other recommendations: we visited Apollonia on the way to the apartment (we started our holiday elsewhere), which is really worth while - if you do visit, there is a beautiful restaurant on site at the top of the hill which we only discovered after we had been to the one nearer the ticket office (which was fine but the setting of the other one was stunning so check it out before deciding where you want to eat/drink). We also did a morning trip to St Mary's Monastery at Vlorë followed by a visit to a great beach bar nearby.
The wifi can go in an out - that bothered the kids more than me.

Great villa, spacious and comfortable . Super pool which kids enjoyed very much. Host was very friendly and helpful, all very tidy and clean. Highly recommended.
