Located in Cai Be, a river town along the Mekong River, The Durian Lodge at Mekong offers a contemporary Vietnamese fusion cuisine restaurant, operated by chef Loan Nguyen. The lodge has a variety of accommodation types for varying needs.

The lodge is about 150 metres from the famous Cai Be Floating Market. It is a 1.5-hour drive from Can Tho Airport. Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) is a 2.5-hour drive away, with hotel shuttle services available at a surcharge.

We had a great stay and very well looked after by our host. She was great!
We were the only guests and treated very well by our host. Her food was the best! !
The bedroom was a little basic and close to nature!

Excellent attentive host and a comfortable rural setting close to the river.
The Durian Lodge offers the opportunity to meet a hard working local family in a rural community surrounded by nature. Loan is an excellent host. She could not be more helpful. Her communication with us before and during our stay was very good. She is a good cook and her food is well presented. The bed was particularly comfortable.
it’s been a tough two years with no guests and it will take Loan a little while to get everything back as she would like, but it was still an enjoyable stay.
