Live as a local.
A traditional house on stilts in the least touristy floating village in Cambodia. The kids in the village will greet you as you walk down the streets! The beds are pretty firm and the noise in the morning is pretty loud but if you want to experience life as a local then this is the best way to do it. You will need to pay $5pp to enter the village. We got a tuk tuk from Siem Reap using the Grab app. The guesthouse can also provide transport.

You need to stay at least one night at Kampong Khleang to have the real feeling of the place. This Homestay is the best spot in town.
Bring ears plugs because the environment is noisy.

Wonderful little place, you feel very welcome and it’s very peaceful, with a wonderful terrace with a great view. The food is fantastic and we definitely recommend it to everyone.
