How is Salman Zwaidh Camp?

How is the accommodation in detail?
Located in the protected area of Wadi Rum, this authentic Bedouin camp is surrounded by orange-coloured rock mountains. Salman Zwaidh offers private and shared tents, and free breakfast is served daily.
Each tent at Zwaidh Camp is decorated with traditional Bedouin rugs. Pillows and linen are provided for both winter and summertime. A toilet and a shower are located outside of the tents.
Lunch and dinner are available on request, including vegan and vegetarian options. Guests are invited to help staff prepare a traditional meal according to local traditions. In the evening, they can listen to Bedouin stories and songs.

pleasant.
Breakfast is abundant. The staff is friendly.
The lack of maintenance of services and facilities was noticeable. I had to move rooms because the electricity didn't work. Although the staff was friendly, they did not speak English and communication was difficult when the owner was not there.

Excellent location, great jeep ride, away with nature.
Salman offered the 4 hour jeep ride which was quite comprehensive and included Mushroom rock and Umm Fruth Rock Bridge. This was at JD80. If you excluded them, then price will reduce but it's worth taking the former. The location of the camp was ideal as you can get nice photos of the stars as it's isolated with hills in the background. Dinner which you had to pay and complimentary breakfast was great.
All good. Knowing that this is isolated in the desert, power is obtained through solar energy. So, bring along a headlamp or torchlight as it's lights out after 11.30pm till next morning.
