Very friendly staff, great views over the Bodensee.
Room with a great view over the Bodensee, friendly & helpfull staff.
carpets in the room feel outdated and could do with an upgrade.

Very Good
Located at the sea and directly at the harbour and ferry. Bus tickets are included. To the bus stop for Konstanz is a 1 minute walk. You need 15 minutes to get into town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Good breakfast.

Schiff am See.
The location is terrific, right on the lake, and our room had a wonderful lake view with two balconies, on the second floor. We visited the Rheinfalls, a must do item and we'll worth it. It's about 1hr drive, but the resulting boat trip is a hoot and definitely one to be done!
We weren't allowed a kettle in the room, so a cup of tea cost us €5 each time (each cup!). Only some of the electrical outlets in the room were connected to the power supply. The shower temperature was variable, changing from hot to cold and back again. Whilst there, 2 nights, I gained over 20 insect bites, I suspect some of these were mosquitoes, but I'm not sure about all of them. Not the hotel's fault, but be aware that it may be an issue. Parking is limited to around 6 vehicles, so be prepared to find parking nearby. There's not a lot to do in the evening within walking distance, so be prepared to eat at the hotel or at the neighboring pub.
