Charming and friendly.
Location just in the heart of town! So appreciated this historic hotel. We really needed a elevator because of age, but the front desk girl offered to catty up our bags. So helpful! So glad we found this charming hotel!

Great place to stay “ in Valparaiso “ , but having been there I don’t need to return. Viña del Mar was not worth going t.
On Plaza Sotomayor, where free walk tours start. Busy in day time, but all shuts at 6pm. Walked up to cerro Alegre for restaurants in evening . Several good ones, others more basic .
No lift I tried to booked a taxi to the airport in Santiago and was told no problem. They would do it for me in the morning of. The night porter ( we couldn’t communicate) eventually told me to hail a taxi outside. I failed ( stressful)and after 45 mins returned for the new receptionist to get one in six minutes. Wonderful lady.
