Nice stay.
Super central location in Lapa, close to main attractions in the heart of Rio. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and generally nice vibes.
Our toilet seat was damaged which made sitting on it uncomfortable. Only one of the receptionists spoke English but I didn't mind as I got by in Portuguese.

Spacious room, comfortable, silent. Location is centre of Rio which is not the nicest area but close to everything.
They should improve the reception system, it's not digitalized and takes so much time you wait ages in the queue. Especially with only one person working at the time of check- ins.

Uncomfortable mattress but good location.
Cheap. Good location.
Hardest, thinnest most uncomfortable mattress ever. Stains on bed sheets. Furniture needs to be renewed and walls repainted as there were humidity stains. Also, clerk charged me extra 50 Reais in cash without invoice to check-in 45 minutes before time even though the room was ready, claiming that the computer didn’t allow him to check me in early unless I give him extra cash… Clearly he pocketed that money for himself.
