Enjoy the stay.
Great location. Clean rooms. The host is nice, even she did not speak English, she’s helpful. Value for money.
Just have no public space to sit down for a rest or to have a breakfast. Which should not count as a downside of this property.

Good value option in a friendly guesthouse.
I arrived off an overnight bus at 08:30 and the owner immediately cleaned my room so I could check in and have a shower. She was also able to arranfge a transfer the next day to the train station for the Chepe train. The photos don't do the room justice as they are actually quite bright and come with both air con and a fan so you have the choice. The bed was comfortable, WiFi worked well and the shower good and hot.
Watch out for the mozzies, they bite :-(.

Itchy in El Fuerte.
Road was all dug up out front. Omar the owner was great. We said the construction situation was unacceptable, as we needed secure parking and couldn't enter the property. He gave us cash back to cover the amount he was receiving. We ended up driving to Los Mochis and found a hotel to stay in there. The midges, no- see-ums were terrible in El Fuerte. Never had so many bites. Not on the top of my list of Pueblos Magicos. I have visited 36 out of 134 of them.
NO see-ums. Not a town we were too impressed with even though it's a Pueblo Magico. Certainly has character and it seems as if things are being improved.

Dangerous shower! !! Open wires on the water heater, inside the shower area. I was really worry to shower No place to store your clothes.
