Excellent hotel for a 4 night stay.
Five minutes from the beach, 20 minutes walk into central Split. Spa was lovely and the buffet breakfast good too. The panoramic views towards Brac and Hvar from our 3rd floor suite were amazing. Pizza, Gelato, Best Sushi and Croatian restaurants within 5 minutes walk .
Building site across the road was very noisy and dusty.

Not sure it’s a Four-Star with 9 star Reviews.
When planning a getaway, one often looks forward to a relaxing and luxurious experience, especially when booking a place that boasts four-star ratings like Marvi Hotel and Spa in Split. However, this establishment might leave you questioning the glowing reviews it receives. Starting with the location, it’s decent but not outstanding. Don’t expect picturesque sea views; my “nice” room overlooked an unsightly, unfinished construction site. This was a far cry from the serene retreat I was anticipating. The staff presents a mixed bag. While some, like Christina, were genuinely sweet, helpful and pleasant, others seemed disengaged, possibly hampered by language barriers, contributing to an inconsistent service experience that one wouldn’t expect at a reputed hotel. Visiting in April, just at the start of the season, might have been a mistake. Several advertised facilities were not operational yet, detracting from the overall experience. For a hotel that is rated so highly, the closure of key amenities (like the roof top pool and bar) during my stay was disappointing. Then the attention to detail. Regarding the room amenities, tea lovers from the UK take note: the tea and milk supplies are inadequate, with no fresh or even powdered milk available. The toiletries provided were just passable, not what you’d anticipate from a four-star hotel. Essentials like body wash were conspicuously absent, with a single dispenser serving both as hand wash and body wash, which wasn’t replenished during a four-night stay. The shower had two shampoo and conditioners and no Body wash. Additionally, some rooms felt partially finished with inconsistent decor and missing elements that would typically provide a sense of luxury and completion. For instance, while some rooms boasted double beds and 2 TVs, others lacked these features and had empty uncarpeted areas. Surprisingly, despite some room descriptions promising bathtubs, mine included only a shower.
