We enjoyed staying at Kiriom Hilsside Resort and exploring tge gatdens and facilities.
Great view, spacious room, excellent facilities and gardens, food was tasty and good value, and the staff friendly.
The loud rap music with offensive language on the first night was not relaxing. It would be good to have a mosquito net on the bed, or screens on the windows and doors.

Location and outside aspect is really great, the place is at the entrance of Kirirom Park, surrounded by nature, very cute. It's tranquil and relaxing. Swimming pool and terraces in double rooms are nice. The resort is quite broad and offers nice walking paths/bike lines. Big fan of the giant dinosaurs statues in the park. The food is ok, prices are average.
The head bartender/waiter is there from 7 in the morning until 10 at night. Perhaps it's because of long hours , but he's incredibly rude and really makes the experience unpleasant. The entire rest of staff is sweet, helpful and very kind. Showers in the rooms are tiny and hard to work with questionable cleanliness. We slept on half of the mattress covered with a sheet -it was too short and with tiny moth-like holes.

Top place.
I didn’t know what to expect . When I arrived they took my bags down to my bungalow . I had ordered a garden view and it was upgraded to the lake . The swimming pool was great . My room had aircon and it worked well . WiFi worked in my room . The staff was really nice and pleasant .i loved the dogs there as well . All in all top place good safe parking for my motorcycles . And to top it all we was the only two there . Worth the visit would use again ?
Be nice if you had more vegetarian options.

Avoid this place.
The grounds are beautiful. I think the gardening team are the best of all the staff.
The rooms/bungalows are old and tired and desperately need to be renovated. The bathroom was so mouldy and dirty, I hated using it. Even though the grounds are beautiful, there was a lot of rubbish lying around. I saw staff putting waste onto a pile and burning it, and that included plastics and polystyrene takeaway food containers ... APPALLING. The front office staff, whilst friendly, seemed to know very little about sightseeing in the area and told us we should talk to taxi/tuktuk drivers about this. The food in the restaurant was poor at best, and mostly it was terrible. The website says the menu is fully customisable for vegetarians, but when I enquired I was told I could have a cheese and ham sandwich without the ham, or a tofu burger (which was on the menu), but there was no tofu. When I asked whether there would instead be some sort of vegetable patty, I was told the burger would just have lettuce and tomato on it. The pool was sort of cleaned every day, but the tiles around the edge are broken and mouldy. No internal phone system between the rooms and reception/ room service etc. They said we need to phone them if we want room service. When I said I don't have a local sim, they said I should email them! ! This place needs a lot of work done on it, and a lot of staff training. Last thing .... very expensive, absolutely not worth anything like what they charge.
