Hotelito Los Sueños

It was a cute hotel. Good location, you can walk to just about everything. It was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was enjoyable. Good coffee, fresh fruit, fresh bread, lots of hot choices. Connie and her girls were very nice.

When you travel, certain things are considered standard in a room. A blow dryer and a safe. Both were available, but you had to put a deposit on the safe, which wouldn't hold anything bigger than your passport and money. So we decided not to bother. The blow dryers had to be picked up from the front desk, but you needed to give them a piece of ID to hold. As we were not driving in Mexico, we didn't have any ID except for our passports. So, no blow dryer. I was told that reception would clear it with the owners for me to use it. I asked twice and got the same answer, same person on reception. The night before we left, I asked again, a different person on reception, and was given the blow dryer with no problems at all. This simple request, which was denied, left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the holiday.

Was good. Coffee was OK . Mexican coffee would have been a real treat. Omelet would have been really good if offered.

Could have used warming covers for buffet items .

Very nice hotel, just a few minutes' walk from the heart of Sayulita. Highly commendable for its cleanliness, both in common areas and rooms. Breakfasts are varied, with the menu changing daily. The staff is very friendly, professional and discreet.

It's not very well soundproofed, so you can hear outside noises.

The breakfast was the best part of the property. The variety was good, something for everyone, even the grandkids. Only problem was the bees flying and landing on our food.

The property had an old section and a new section. We had an older room, #107. The bathroom had several things that needed fixing. The sink had a leak coming from around the left faucet, getting counter wet. The toilet also had a leak coming from under it. Both problem were reported but nothing was done while we were there 4 nights. The shower head was old and spit out water under low pressure. The door to the room had a curtain attached to the top of the door frame. When you open the door, the curtain is pushed over to the left, allowing anyone walking by to see into the room. The curtain should be attached to the door, not the door frame. The air conditioner blew cold but it had no way of adjusting the direction. It was blowing right on the head of the bed.
