How is Heritage Lodge?
Heritage Lodge is situated in Daintree, Queensland, Australia. If you want to enjoy a swim we have swimming pool with panoramic view. Parking is available on site. We have a restaurant available in our accommodation and our facilities have air conditioning.
There are areas in which you may have garden view or mountain view. In our facilities we provide tobacco-free rooms and family accommodation. In order to guarantee comfortable and hassle-free accommodation, we offer pool towels and in order to provide you with leisure options during your time here, we offer flat screen television.
We have various leisure activities such as, for example, recreational fishing, trekking, to ride a horse or snorkeling.
Overlooking Cooper Creek and the lodge swimming pool, On The Turps offers modern Australian cuisine using local produce.
Each cabin includes a TV, DVD player and fan. Table and chairs are provided on the private balconies for spotting birds, butterflies and musky rat kangaroos.
Heritage Lodge is located only 15 km north of the Daintree River Ferry Crossing. Port Douglas is a 1-hour drive away. A private airport transfer can be arranged for guests at an additional charge.

We absolutely loved and were looking forward to stay again.
It was relaxing, beautiful, staff were wonderful and our meals were incredible and delicious and amazing gluten free options.
We had the smell of mildew in the bathroom, but couldn’t really see where it was coming from. Closed the door on bathroom, so it didn’t impact our room which was very comfortable.

A lovely place to disconnect. Very remote so come prepared.
Nice and quiet. Very picturesque location. We loved the fresh water springs at the back of the property. Good variety of old school DVDs.
Breakfast menu was limited. Restaurant menu was very expensive and meals were hit and miss (some lovely, some not so great). The smoking area was right next to the pool where the kids were swimming which was less than ideal.
