Exceptional
Place was clean, friendly staff and loved the food and cocktails. It was amazing. Rooftop dinner was romantic ❤❤❤.
Initially I thought the indoor pool was for the hotel. But it's actually part of the spa package. You had to pay and reserve in advance. So that was disappointed but overall loved my stay at the hotel.

Overall fine but too costly for what you get.
Rooms were a good size and there was a kettle in the room which meant I could boil my own water - (when I asked to buy a bottle they didn’t have any available). Staff were friendly.
I’m amazed it’s still a 4*. The place is very shabby, with fixtures coming off the walls. There’s a nice terrace in the restaurant but the roof terrace had been booked out during my stay (I wasn’t informed so made the trip up there, asked for a drink and got kicked out!). The hallways are very dark and there are (dirty but clear) glass floors between each level in the lobby, so would avoid wearing a skirt! The spa looks nice but the pool is inside in a very small, cramped space and honestly in 30 degree heat it’s too warm to enjoy. I booked a massage, which was great although paid for 60 mins and ended up being 45. I think there are better hotels in Tana - this one is fine but it’s just very expensive for what it is. They make you pay at check-in, rather than check-out as well, which probably should have been a red flag.

Ok for one night but not more…
The food quality & serving was very good and to be recommended. The same for the quality of lava stone massage, a very good masseuse. Good airport transfer service.
Massage Center is in the cellar and does not feel very welcoming. The massage chair had very uncomfortable opening scratching the neck all the time which does not allow to fully relax. Restaurant - waiting times long, attendance low (my plate of finished food was on the table for more than 30 minutes) even tough the place was almost empty. Room - a broken & shabby toilet seat, lizard in the room, otherwise ok ? however, this I don’t expect in a 4* hotel.
