Extremely comfortable.
The cooked breakfast was absolutely scrumptious. Homemade breads and spreads were a great touch. Euan was very hospitable and made us feel very comfortable in his home. Beautiful homestead and garden and the location to the town was brilliant.

Very enjoyable spot for a night or two, easy walk to great restaurants and the river.
Lovely location, and a very nice cooked breakfast. And coffee. A cup of tea on the terrace prior to dinner was perfect. The garden is extremely pretty and spacious. The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly appointed and clean. We had a very comfortable large bed. Good strong shower, the light around the mirror was appreciated. I liked there was plenty of space for our suitcases. Friendly host and the pet dog was sweet.
Roadworks right outside the front gate were noisy from 7.30am. Just unlucky timing, not the fault of the host. It also made driving in a little difficult. Again, not an ongoing problem I am sure once they finish.

Exceptional
Evan is a great host. Location excellent in a quiet Clyde street. Beautiful setting with well looked after gardens. Plenty of parking space. Room a great size, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast delicious - very fancy egg on toast with yummy relish and baked tomatoes. Extra toast and home made apricot/wild thyme jam. Coffee good too. We really liked the shared breakfast with other guests too.
