I didn't want to stay the main town but opted for something closer to the falls. Hotel Colonial Iguazu was located a short ride from the airport. The reservation came with a free pick-up from the airport. While there were no restaurants nearby, they had a restaurant which served delicious and reasonably priced meals. Service in the hotel was excellent. I would recommend to stay here. I also liked that they have a tour agency in their lobby. I availed for the falls ticket and pick-up, tickets for the bird sanctuary and private transfer to my hotel in Puerto Iguazu. Very convenient.
I agree with the other comments that the rooms look tired. However, these were comfortable for a one-night stay. Tip: check their minibar packages for bottled water.

Good value for money and unparalleled location.
Fantastic location next to the airport and close to the falls. Variety of indoor and outdoor pools, playgrounds for kids. Friendly staff.
Room decor is quite outdated and uninviting. Not uncomfortable though.

Very Good
Good location. Walking distance from the national park, however roadworks meant it wasn’t an easy walk. Close to airport. Great staff running excursions and offering drop off and pick ups.
The food selection wasn’t good. Snack bar had poor quality food. Breakfast bar and evening buffet had a wide selection but not many healthy options.

A perfectly placed great hotel.
It’s a lovely hotel in a great position close to the airport and the entrance to the park. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
