Golden villa perfection.
Everything! It was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The lay out is amazing, and it was so peaceful, a little hidden gem. Was impressed to find a extra large drinking water provided. So with the 2x glass refill bottles and the 4x we took with us we had cold drinking water the entire time. Rotating through the fridge. The staff didn't wake us up to clean, instead waited for us to head out, so we weren't disturbed and always came back to fresh sheets and a clean room. Staff were friendly, called the horse taxi guys for us when we couldn't coz our phones didn't call out over there. On the last day 1 of the staff saw me struggling to take 2 bikes back to the hire place as my partner wasn't feeling well, he took the extra bike all the there and then gave me his bike to ride back to the villa. ?? The location is in the middle of the island close to everything we wanted. An easy bike ride to either side of the island ( jus get bikes with lights it gets dark down the back streets, though we noticed some street lights were on sensor) . Also close to jali restaurant where we found the best food and cocktails on the island and at a good price ? Sheree from Darwin Australia ?? Highly recommend.

An island of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the East and West sides of Gilli.
An island of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the East and West sides of Gilli. Bikes are essential here but made the stay all the more special as we had to cycle everywhere and all for £2.50 a bike per day. Lovely little pool and staff were very helpful with information and trip arrangements.
Beds were a bit basic as mattresses were on raised concrete plinths but I think this is the norm here.

Excellent! Would recommend ☺️.
Loved the location, felt very private, welcome drinks on arrival, and honeymoon decor on the bed as requested☺️ Pool very nice touch.
Bed was quite firm so maybe a new mattress but overall slept well.
