Nice place but overpriced and I wouldn’t recommend or go back.
Beautiful building with lovely views in excellent location. Rooms clean and fairly comfortable.
You can only pay cash and no invoice or receipts. Much more expensive than advertised price. He charged £3 for a bottle of water that costs 30p in shop and amongst his extensive rules are you can’t bring any drinks in. Breakfast is ok but no choice and not very nice coffee or juice. Some things that booking. com says are in room eg coffee maker absent. One room had a shower over the toilet in tiny bathroom which made everything wet. I felt the staff were a bit unfriendly.

The view at breakfast was amazing, the owners were very friendly and i was greeted with a juice and a pastry on arrival. Their dog was also very cute.

Definitely recommend.
The rooftop terrace for breakfasts and sundowners is very lovely. The host went out of his way to make us happy and complained on our behalf when a trek went wrong. Kiko the dog and the cats are cuties.

Breathtaking hotel in Berat, Albania!
One of the BEST 'Bed and Breakfast' experiences in my life. This property has breathtaking views from its terraces, and is a very homely, cosy and well maintained family home that has been built to help tourists experience a more authentic version of Berat in Albania. The owner Aleksander and his lovely wife were extremely friendly and helpful. She makes the breakfast herself, fresh, every morning for you. They use fresh mandarins they grow themselves, for ingredients. Additionally, the city center is a mere 2 min walk from the hotel. The room is large enough for a B&B, with a queen size bed and thick blankets as well as a mini fridge. The bathroom is excellent. NOTE: The area is all uphill and downhill, and the parking is a slight walk from the property, so pack ONE case with the essentials you need for a stay in this hotel and you'll be fine carrying it up to the property. You can leave the rest in the car.
There was no heater in my room, and as we went in winter, it got quite cold at night. Just ask for a heater and they will provide it. Berat the city is all hills, so there's a LOT of uphill and downhill walking for everything. So if you're not used to that or are not fit or healthy, it can take some effort.
