They asked for a pre-authorization of 150€ /day that wasn’t mentioned anywhere, on their booking page .

Overall, I would recommend this hotel thoroughly and wholeheartedly - unless you need the gym.
We were given a beautiful room with a stunning view of the lake. The room was a really comfortable size, modern, well decorated and the view of the lake is astonishing. Shower was excellent - powerful; the room also has a bath which is increasingly rare. I was not expecting the hotel to offer a room as good as this, and was very pleasantly surprised. Downstairs the bar area is warm and comfortable. Breakfast is superb.
Weaknesses: No gym at the hotel - one is available but a 20 minutes drive away (I think this is a mistake). At the time we visited the spa and inside pool was closed. Dinner was lacking any real atmosphere.

Lovely location.
Stunning property. Great location overlooking the lake . Lovely room .
Dogs allowed in room however we could not enjoy a proper meal in the hotel restaurant or bar with our dog . 20 euro charge for parking . Staff were ambivalent and not friendly, particularly in the bar area .
