The apartment was large, well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the terrace of the lake was wonderful. We really appreciated the air conditioning and the very comfortable mattresses in our bedrooms. The owner of the property responded quickly to help us resolve our problem of getting the key, having the apartment cleaned and being charged for the cost of cleaning the apartment.

This is an expensive apartment (which is fair as it is a large and beautiful apartment), but I do think that the owner of the property should make it clearer that the apartment is in a complex managed by L'Ami Soleil when describing the property to users of Booking. com. There were 4 things I would comment on:. 1. When we arrived the apartment had not been cleaned and we had to wait 45 minutes for the keys to the property. After 2 days of driving, this was very frustrating. When we gained access to the property, the cleaners turned up to clean it, which was not convenient. I waited while they cleaned and my family went to the pool for a swim. I would like to have known that the apartment was being managed by a different holiday company when I made the booking. 2. Being in an apartment, we were surrounded by other guests above, below and to the right. For example, if they were smoking outside on their balcony we could smell it. When they stayed up late at night, the noise of them moving furniture on their balcony above us was very loud in our bedrooms and affected our sleep. This is not the owner's fault. I had forgotten what it was like to live in an apartment. 3. The pool did not open until 10am each day and closed at 6.45pm. This was very inconvenient. My family and I wanted to swim before 10am. The opening times on the advert for the property are 9am - 7pm. 4. The holiday company charged us for cleaning and for holiday taxes despite them being included in the price we paid to the owner of the apartment. When we contacted the owner, they were very helpful and contacted the holiday company. However, the holiday company would only refund the 95 euro cleaning cost, and not the 15 euro holiday taxes. .. so we have paid 15 euro x 2 for the holiday tax: once to the owner and once to the holiday company.
